ABOUT
Clarissa Bonet is a Chicago-based photographer whose work explores the relationship between people and the built environment. With an MFA in Photography from Columbia College Chicago and a BFA from the University of Central Florida, she combines formal training with a keen eye for light, surface, and spatial relationships.
Her practice spans architectural photography, construction documentation, environmental portraiture, and editorial work, producing images that are both technically precise and visually expressive. She works with architects, builders, developers, and editors to create photography for marketing, awards, publications, and project documentation.
She collaborates closely with clients to capture materiality, light, and atmosphere, producing images that communicate design intent while highlighting the human experience within a space.
In addition to her commercial work, Clarissa maintains a fine art practice, with exhibitions in galleries and museums nationally and internationally. Her photographs are held in the permanent collections of institutions across the country.
