ABOUT

Clarissa Bonet is a Chicago-based photographer working at the intersection of architecture, the built environment, and the people who inhabit it.

She works with architects, builders, designers, and editorial clients to create images of architecture, construction, and environmental portraiture. Her work focuses on the experience of space and the people who inhabit it, highlighting materiality, atmosphere, and light.

Clarissa holds an MFA in Photography from Columbia College Chicago and a BFA in Photography from the University of Central Florida. She collaborates closely with clients to produce images that communicate the character and design intent of a space while remaining attentive to light, surface, and spatial relationships.

Alongside her commercial work, Clarissa maintains an active fine art practice. Her photographs have been exhibited in galleries and museums nationally and internationally and are held in permanent collections across the United States.
